STIJN HELSEN TAILORED SPIDERMAN
The famous Spiderman movie was one of the most eagerly awaited movies of
his period. Being part of the design team it was for Stijn Helsen a great
opportunity to show his tailor talents. Sam Raimi was safely entrusted with
the responsibility of Directorial duty with the excellent casting of Tobey
Maguire and Kirsten Dunst.
Stijn Helsen: ‘The Spiderman suit was mostly made from scratch. A fabric
polyskin called was silk screened and made to measure for Tobey and his
stuntman, which he worn over his muscle suit’. Read
